I got the idea for this cake while browsing pinterest. Gotta love that site, right? The original cake was much bigger with tons more details and as much as I would've loved to replicate the entire thing, I had to scale it back since there were only 6 of us at the dinner party lol (2 of which were under the age of 6) It was still lots of fun to make. I had to use gum paste for the top hat and tea set since it dries a lot faster than homemade fondant. It turned out beautiful and delicious!

This cake is frosted with icing.  The details were made with black fondant. Pretty simple but it looks AWESOME!! My hubby was pretty happy celebrating his birthday with it <3 p="p">

My youngest is obsessed with all things super heroes.  For his birthday Capt. America was at the top of his list.  As I type this, Spider-man is now in the lead. I asked him what kind of cake he would like for his bday and he said "A Capt. America shield!!" and since his every wish is my command, he got what he wanted. He was so excited! We're not big on parties but i'm glad he can be just as happy at home with just his family and his very own Capt. America cake <3 p="p">

One of my oldest friends asked me to make a Dora cake for her daughter's 2nd birthday and I jumped at the chance. I hadn't seen my friend since I was sixteen (im 28 now lol) so I was really happy that she would trust me with this. I can't take credit for the design. My friend found a pic online and asked if I could recreate it :) I did a pretty good job at it lol

This is the card I made to go along with her gift :)

and this is the gift I decided on doing... I LOVE how it came out and I now want to make dozens of them. I have 2 more kids birthdays coming up so I think I'll make some more!

It's been a super busy past two weeks for me. After completing an order of 30 something assorted greeting cards I worked on this cake. It was my first Baptism cake and I think it came out gorgeous!!! I have two boys so It was a welcome change to work on something for a sweet little girl.

This is the cake I made to top last years Nemo cake lol I got the idea for it online. I had my cousin buy the figurines at Disneyland and send 'em to me. Everything else is fondant, including the letters and fencing around the bottom tier.

I made this card for my baby just so it would match the theme of the party. Woody is a Jolee's sticker. I used the font in Wild Card for the lettering and Celebrations for the 2.

Ok, so I decided for my bday I wanted a topsy turvy cake....LOL, I totally screwed up and cut off too much from the bottom layer AND I didn't use anything to support the top 2 tiers. Well I definitely learned my lesson. Flaws and all, I loved my cake. It screamed DIANA :) or Tulip Princess, which ever you prefer. I didn't make the name, but I helped lol I can't wait to move back home so I can make cakes for my friends and family!!!

This was the first cake I ever decorated using fondant. Everything except the candle and the little turtle is edible. It took me about 8 hours to make all the embellishments and put them on the cake. I was sad to cut into it lol... I knew I was going to have my work cut out for me trying to top this on his second birthday!!!!
